really good stay, wonderful hosts
comfortable bed friendly welcome super clean room peace all around
i received a warm welcome upon arrival and found the location to be secluded, offering great privacy. my room, a superior double room, was super clean, and the bed proved very comfortable for good sleep. breakfast was a highlight, with a hearty full english breakfast cooked to perfection. the garden was lovely, and i enjoyed the restful place.
during my stay, the local bus service was a bit limited, which required careful planning for excursions.

My superior double room included a smart tv and a fridge stocked with bottled water. A great addition! a sofa and a dressing table added extra convenience to the room. the en-suite bathroom featured an enormous bath, perfect after sightseeing.

lovely garden handy fridge excellent breakfast
i was charmed by the room overlooking the garden. it had a fridge, very handy. there was also an iron with an ironing board in the room, too. breakfast was excellent with so much choice.
the bed, although comfortable. felt a bit narrow for two people.

dusty lamp worn tiles
I noticed the bedside lamp was dusty. The bathroom floor tiles looked worn and could use some attention. Breakfast service needs improvement, I waited an excessive amount of time for my toast one morning. I found this unacceptable. The shower temperature fluctuate greatly, it was hard to get it steady.

The location was convenient, with the town center and sea accessible with a short walk. fiona and ian are very cute hosts, they ensured a warm atmosphere. i especially appreciated the secure, gated parking. It added security. the included breakfast was particularly delicious and the talks with fiona were engaging.

peaceful location daily water nice size bed dirty bath missed toast tired bathroom
the location was quite peaceful. it was around a 15-minute walk to the beach. the bed was nicely sized but not huge. a bottle of water was in the fridge each day.
the bath was dirty on the first day. i did not have cleaning equipment. toast was missed at breakfast one day. the bathroom looked a bit tired.
